We, at the Overhead Door Company of Central Jersey, are looking to grow our team by hiring assistant commercial service technicians, assistant residential installation technicians, and residential service managers. Experience is not necessary, a good attitude is a must.
Garage Door Installer & Technician Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Clean Driving record
- Clean drug tests
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull
- Frequently lift up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
- Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
- Maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Attends work and shows up for a scheduled shift on time.
Service & Installation Manager Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Patience! Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to juggle several things at once (we really mean it! We are a volume business, try answering 50+ phone calls a day, dispatching 6 crews at once, writing 30+ tickets a day yet maintaining a positive attitude toward our customers.)
- Detailed knowledge of Central Jersey geography. (Schedule routes, in order to minimize windshield time!)
- Quick to learn (our suppliers quickly change availability, must learn when a product is discontinued and what to do in order to substitute.)
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect. (Team count on you for guidance)
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.
- Maturity of judgment and behavior.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Attends work and shows up on time.
