Your Residential Garage Door Specialist
Overhead Door Co of Central Jersey - Carl Kinahan is the Residential Product Specialist since 2017. He started his nearly 30-year career with Overhead Door Company of Central Jersey while pursuing his Business Administration degree from TCNJ The College of New Jersey.
He began as a Residential Service Technician in 1994 and was promoted after 6 months to Residential Service Manager and helped grow that department for the next 9 years. Then in 2003, he became the Inside Showroom Specialist and Inventory Control Specialist for the next 13 years helping to shape the showroom and maintain the product inventory. In 2016 for 1 year, he stepped up to be Commercial Service Manager and Residential Installation Manager as his predecessor had retired. In 2017, the then Residential Product Specialist retired after 26 years of service, and with Carl’s previous experience and a week of training in the Dallas Texas facility, it was a seamless transition into his current position.
He prides himself on providing a positive customer service experience by tailoring the selection of garage doors and electric garage door operators to each customer’s needs. He attributes his success to his expansive knowledge base from many years of experience and attention to detail.
Personal Life
Carl is married to his best friend and wife Elisa with which they share many things in common. They enjoy hiking, bowling, traveling, the beach, and music. Between them, they have 4 daughters and 2 cats.
Carl loves music and is currently the lead singer in a Foo Fighters tribute band and keyboard, rhythm guitar, and vocals in a classic rock band. He also shares this love with his wife as they sing in the church choir and Carl says “there isn’t a day that goes by that they aren’t singing together”.
